Serious concern of Obolo people : No to remapping

Below is the truth of real human being

Serious concern of Obolo people : No to remapping

Beware of Communal conflict in Akwa Ibom State.

Taking a good comparative look at these two maps, one will notice that nothing has really changed in other senatorial districts except Eket Senatorial District.

In the original map of the state, Onna as a Local Government does not have any access to the Atlantic Ocean. The only three Local Government Areas in the state with access to the Atlantic Ocean are; Mbo, Ibeno, and Eastern Obolo.

In the new concocted map by the powers that be, you will notice that some parts of Ibeno and Eastern Obolo have been ceded to Onna just to give it access to the Atlantic Ocean while Mbo Local Government has little or no access to the Atlantic Ocean again.

One could clearly see that the whole essence of this remapping of the state is solely to give Onna Local Government access to the Atlantic Ocean which will enable them partake in the 3% Host Community PIA Bill that was passed into law by the National Assembly.

With this remapping, there no way the people of Mbo and Oro by extension can lay claim to Ibaka Deep Seaport.

I'm from Ikot Abasi LGA, but let's do things right.

The  Ibibo adage goes thus, " kutuk adanga eset ( Do not touch the ancient boundary).

We don't need war in Akwa Ibom State.
