ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA TOPIC: EMPOWERED FOR GLOBAL IMPACT.

As we celebrate this general council men’s day for 2023 I will like the brethren to reflect on how they will make positive impacts in their endeavor because if we don’t we have disappointed God- because God wait on His throne to back us up by answering and defending us as we go with His name to make impact.
A known fact that we can make a global impact let us start with creating positive impact in our little corner, in your little business, job etc. The impact to be a lasting one , ie generational should be back up by God. One of our first step of creating impact is to come back to God-Repent. Next step is to establish a relationship with God.
We need to have a global vision and mission, but no global impact can be made without local impact that will later develop to global impact.
In the series of teaching and ENSAMPLE WE have in biblical time and now: Daniel and Hezekiah. A man like DANIEL use prayers to sustain himself, the Jewish nation when in captive for 70 years. Daniel 2:16-19
Daniel use prayers to control the affairs of nations, ESTHER AND MORDEACAI did the same in Esther 4.
Men ought always to pray and not faint, God is in search of men who will pray in our generation until something happens.
We are empowered to fulfil the great commission and impact the world ENSAMPLE (Paul and Silas) Acts 17:6.
EMPOWERED TO SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AND REVIVAL (ELIJAH, EZEKIEL) The nations of the world need spiritual awakening. Revival come from God-creating impact here does not mean the normal ROUTINE PRAYERS OR ACTIVITIES TO GOD BUT, EXTR-ORDINARY PRAYERS AND SERVICE AS OUR CAPACITY INCREASE. King Josiah catalyzed spiritual awakening during his reign ( 2 Kings 23:1-3)
EMPOWERED TO DEFEND THE FAITH: STEPHEN AND PAUL ( Acts 26:16-18).
One of the surprising thing happened in Acts 5:40-42 The disciples of Christ were arrested and beaten and warned not to preach again, they went back rejoicing that they have been found worthy to be suffer with Christ. How does these sound in your hear, that is people who are ready to make impact in there generation with the power in the word of God. The likes of Apostle Paul, Stephen in the new testament time.
EMPOWERED TO DO BUSINESS AND CREATE A TRANSGENERATIONAL WEALTH, OLD MONEY: ISAAC . Wealth is a gift from God is not sin to be very wealthy, It is the Lord that giveth us power to make WEALTH (DEUT 8:18)
EMPOWERED TO CREATE HEALTHY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM- DANIEL. Good health is wealth. 3 John 2… I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health.
EMPOWERED TO CREATE SOCIAL JUSTICE SYSTEM – MOSES. The helpless, orphans, widows are to be defended, in Luke 4:14-18 Jesus come that He may set us free both physical and spiritual.
EMPOWERED TO FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP AND GODLY VIRTUES- JOSEPH. A man most be found faithful ( 1 Cor 4:2, Luke 16:10-12
GOD EMPOWERED MEN TO LEAD IN THE FAMILY- JACOB ( 1 Timothy 5:8)
GOD EMPOWERED MEN TO LEAD THE CHURCH- PETER, TIMOTHY : Effective leadership is what the Lord the owner of the church needs.
EMPOWERED TO LEAD IN NATION AND COMMUNITY BUILDING. 9Neh 1:1-7.Gen 22:18)
Finally, I have meditated on this song for days “MUST I GO WITH EMPTY HANDED” composed by Charles Carroll Luther in 1877. Who inspired to write this after reflecting on people who died WITHOUT CREATING POSITIVE IMPACT.
