THE REACHE MOVEMENT: TRUTH

The REACHE MOVEMENT laughs at this publication with utmost disdain and sees it as a proof of the incessant gullibility parading the minds of the posters and in particular Tammy Timothy who describes this clattery publication as the truth. The political strategy of THE REACHE AGENDA   does not begin nor ends with character assassination but we try as much as we can to distance ourselves from political blackmails and so we won't allow this to slide for the sake of the innocent readers.

To begin with, Sir Adasi Ubulom is a democrat! As the Chairman, Eastern Obolo Elders Forum and Political Stakeholders, he has the right to call for a meeting at the usual venue which is his house as clearly stated in the text. Sir Adasi Ubulom sees the aspiration of Comr. Emigbanam Ubulom beyond a father - son relationship but that of a group of right thinking individuals who seek the better interest of Eastern Obolo and so he rightly said "A group is consulting". It was not his son that was consulting, but a group known as the REACHE MOVEMENT group that is spearheaded by the son that consulted. If that is not clear to even a dumb, then such a dumb is also blind. The beauty of the democratic disposition of Sir. Adasi Ubulom was seen in the meeting when he relinquished his right to chair the meeting to Dr. Charles Mbong. If he intended to impose Comr. Emigbanam Ubulom on the people of Eastern Obolo, he would have chaired the meeting and select those that will talk during the meeting. But he didn't do that, he quietly sat back and watched peacefully and gleefully as the events unfolded. What should a man of integrity do more than this?

Furthermore, for someone to say that the Honourable Member representing Ikot Abasi and Eastern Obolo in the State House of Assembly didn't make such a statement renders her incapacitated of integrity and we believe that Hon. Selinah Ukpatu will not want such defeat of character. To put it clear, "To be considered a reliable Chairman" does not mean that she adopts him as a sole candidate but that she acknowledges the sacrifices, character and antecedents of Com. Emigbanam Ubulom and considers him a perfect and reliable Chairman of Eastern Obolo. If you find it difficult to understand the words "Consider" and "Reliable", and even if you don't have a functional dictionary on your phone, make Google your friend.

Yet, because we don't rely on your ability to have access to any thesaurus, we have uploaded the meanings of "Accept" and "Candidate" for your enlightenment. We strongly advise that you check the many meanings of each of these words. But for emphases, to accept means to "To regard as proper, normal or inevitable." Considering that zoning favours Comr. Emigbanam Ubulom and that he is a man of strong moral and leadership prowesses, shouldn't such a candidate be accepted? Yet there is the problem of the word "Candidate". For clarity, a candidate is one who aspires. Do you now understand?

Finally, referring to the favourable zoning, we are not ignorant of the peddled insecurity displayed by your claim. If you will admit that among the wards that are in Zone A, it is only Ward Two that has not produced a democratically elected chairman of council, then you should not be this unscrupulous to display this high level of ignorance. Mr. Edwin Ubulom as stated was Chairman of Council and to state that without mentioning that he was the Chairman of a Transition Committee is an attempt to derail the unsuspecting public. It is more or less telling the present Transition Committee Chairman not to contest because he is already a Chairman even if political zoning had favoured him. If there is any ward that has enjoyed the magnanimity of the Eastern Obolo People, it is ward one (Okoroete). We will leave the maths for you to do for yourself with respect to Memberships in the Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly, Chairmanship of the LGA, Secretaries of Council and auxiliary positions.

We want to state unequivocally clear that the candidature, oh for your sake, the aspiration of Comr. Emigbanam Ubulom is born out of his political will and generosity to make his leadership and administrative acumen available to the good people of Eastern Obolo and nobody should weep sentiment about a man of honor. As any right and sensible father will do, Sir Adasi Ubulom is only supporting a righteous course and does not in any way as supposed, imposing his son on the Eastern Obolo People.

We admonish the Eastern Obolo to put away bigotry and mediocrity and celebrate morality and excellence.

Let us work together for a better Eastern Obolo.

Regardless of this, the poster should be saner if only he will surrender to good reasoning and join the REACHE MOVEMENT.

GOD BLESS EASTERN OBOLO.
