Who Can Apply / Beneficiaries
To qualify you must be:
Indigene of Akwa Ibom State
Student of a recognized public tertiary institution in Nigeria - university, polytechnic, college of education
Full-time student
At least 2nd year of study
Age limit: Not more than 25 years at time of application
Academic requirement: Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on 5.00 scale. You’ll also submit results each session to keep eligibility
Who gets priority/higher amount:
Students in professional courses like Medicine, Engineering, Law, Agriculture, and Education get ₦30,000. Other students get ₦20,000.
Students with disabilities are also eligible for special intervention grants.
Note: Changing course or institution while on the bursary is not permitted
