"Project H.O.P.E is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on sustainability. Despite previous efforts by the commission and various agencies to engage the youth and women of the region, they fell short of the mark. Today, Project H.O.P.E, which stands for Holistic Opportunities for Programmes of Engagement, is poised for enduring success due to its well-structured framework.
Human capacity development is paramount for overall progress. True development occurs when individuals are empowered and have financial stability, enabling them to appreciate infrastructure advancements actively rather than just being passive spectators.
In the initial phase, we conducted comprehensive registration and data collection of the region's youth to establish a beneficiary database for the Programme. As a result, any registered youth from across the Niger Delta region can access the benefits offered by the Programme. This ongoing process underscores the need for sustainable partnerships that can support us and future generations."
