The NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) is flagging-off the installation of Solar-powered Street lights, commissioning of three (3) medical Ambulance Buses and training of youths from Eastern Obolo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in various oil and gas skills.


A release signed by the Eastern Obolo representatives in the Trust states that about 10 communities will benefit from 600 solar-powered street lights while 50 youths of the area will be inducted to commence training in oil and gas skills such as welding and fabrication, rigging, electrical installation and maintenance, scaffolding, quality assurance, sandblasting, pipe fitting and others.


The event will also witness the handing over of three Medically Equipped Ambulance Buses, procured by the Trust for distribution to 3 Health Centres in the area by the Chairman, EMOIMEE HCDT Board of Trustees, Archbishop (Senator) Helen Esuene.

The release invites the Paramount Ruler of the area, HRM Uboon (Rt.Hon/Elder) Harry John Etetor Ilile IX, the Chairman, Transition Committee, Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, Hon (Elder) Uro Bill Nango and Members, Member Representing Ikot Abasi/Eastern Obolo State  Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Selina Ukpatu, Clan Head and other Traditional Rulers, Stakeholders of the Area, Clergies, the trainees and the general public to attend the event slated to hold at the Obolo Hall, Okoroete Town on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 by 11: 00 am
