MEET HON. MRS. SELINAH ISOTUK UKPATU;
Hails from the community called, Elile Town in Eastern Obolo LGA. Ward 3 comprises Elile town and Amandaka in Ikot Abasi/Eastern Obolo State Constituency.
In her sojourn in politics, she has occupied the following positions:
- Member, Eastern Obolo LGC caretaker committee.
- Secretary, Eastern Obolo LGC caretaker committee.
3. State Officer of the PDP from 2012 till date in different capacities.
Currently, she's aspiring to represent Eastern Obolo/ Ikot Abasi in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly 2023.
Her leadership view is that "a good representative can interpret the wishes and desires of the people and cause this to be manifested through the principles of justice, equity, humane and purposeful driven grassroots unity, peace, and development to enshrine harmonious governmental relationship, inclusiveness, capacity building, competence, and empowerment.
Selinah is the first-ever female politician who has aspired to represent the constituency in the state house of assembly.

She is the first female aspirant that declared her intentions to go for house of Assembly in Ikot Abasi state constituency. From the introduction now at the time of this post, they are now two females in the race
